The world is under the spell of COVID-19. Governments and media tell us that the virus poses such a danger that people have to give up their freedom in many areas.

We see that these restrictions are not only raised in the Netherlands, but worldwide. This is quite drastic! That raises questions! That should raise questions!

Effects
One consequence visible in society is that parties form, separating people with different opinions. That in itself is not such a problem. After all, it means the opportunity exists to dialogue about the questions and shared information.
However, we also see that 'fear' and 'laziness' get in the way of this dialogue and instead polarization evolves. 'Fear' of the virus and 'complacency' lead to the attitude 'the experts and the government will know, I will leave it to them.'
Yet there are also those who do research the information of the so-called 'official' experts and governments, but dismiss sincere questions or criticisms of the 'official' story as disinformation without examining that information. This is dangerous, because then there is no means left to expose any deception might there be deception.
We see that people who have a opinion contrary to the mainstream are labeled as 'crazy', 'egoists', and 'conspiracy thinkers' (which has the connotation of 'they are not mentally well').
